JONN HERSCHEND
CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND ACCOUNT MANAGER
Jonn is a San Francisco-based visual artist and filmmaker. He and fellow visual artist Will Rogan started THE THING Quarterly in 2007 as a way to push forward the concept of art as a part of everyday life. He holds a BA from Boston University and an MFA from UC Berkeley. His films and visual art have been exhibited nationally and internationally including the 2014 Whitney Biennial, SFMOMA and the Telluride International Film Festival.
WILL ROGAN
ACCOUNT COORDINATOR
Will Rogan lives in Sausalito, California. He has a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from UC Berkeley. His personal artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally including the Berkeley Art Museums Matrix program, the Mori Art Museum, and Objectif Exhibitions in Antwerp, Belgium. He is represented by Claudia Altman Siegel in San Francisco, Laurel Gitlen Gallery in New York, and Misak Rosen in Tokyo.
SARAH SIMON
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Sarah is originally from Los Angeles and has lived in the Bay Area since 2007. She has a BA in Art History, Theory, and Practice from Hampshire College and has been part of THE THING since 2012. Sarah also makes ceramic things and is 1/4th of the band Magic Magic Roses.
HEATHER FISK
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Heather has called San Francisco home since 2002. She has been a part of THE THING since 2014. Heather has a BA in Humanities, encapsulating Art History, Literature, and Philosophy from San Francisco State University. She is a vinyl enthusiast who likes to share her collection with THE THING team.
K.R.M MOONEY
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
K.r.m. Mooney has lived in the Bay Area since 2008 and worked at The THING since 2014. Trained as a jeweler at California College of the Arts, but practicing in the field of sculpture they've exhibited nationally at Hester in New York and The Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts in San Francisco and internationally at Rowing Projects in London and Galerie Andreas Huber in Vienna.
